High efficiency heat pumps both heat and cool your home. President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act includes federal subsidies to help low to moderate income households upgrade to the latest high-efficiency heat pumps. The program – administrated by the states – will be implemented between 2024-2025. The bulk of the money is in the form of direct rebates off the install cost of the unit.

While we wait on the states – significant tax credits are currently in existence, and the savings/health benefits of switching to a heat pump are worth it. The intent of Ozark Generations is to help homeowners understand how to take advantage of the various rebates and tax credits.
